What should I do if I see “Permissions were not granted for this Genesys Cloud region”?

If you see the following warning in the Mediabriz extension settings:

“Permissions were not granted for this Genesys Cloud region domain.”

it means the browser has not granted Mediabriz permission to access the required Genesys Cloud region domains.

The steps to resolve this depend on how the Mediabriz extension was installed.

If you installed the extension manually

Click Save, then approve the browser permission request by selecting Allow.

Once permission is granted, Mediabriz can access the required Genesys Cloud region domains.

If the extension is managed by your organization

If the Save button displays Managed, the extension settings are controlled by your organization and you cannot grant this permission yourself.

Contact your IT administrator. They need to allow the four required Genesys Cloud region hosts in the extension's runtime_allowed_hosts policy.

Note: If the warning remains after the required permissions have been granted, refresh Genesys Cloud and check the Mediabriz extension settings again.
