What information is required in the extension settings?

The extension settings require your Genesys Cloud Organization Name (the organization short name you use to log in to Genesys Cloud) and Region.

If either is missing, the Mediabriz toolbar popup shows Setup Required.

There is no need to add Genesys Cloud domains. Mediabriz already has access to them.

Custom domains (optional)

If agents use Mediabriz on your own web application, such as a CRM, as well as or instead of Genesys Cloud:

1. Turn on Enable Custom Domain Mode.
2. Choose Use Both (custom domains and Genesys Cloud) or Custom Domains Only.
3. Enter up to 10 domains as they appear in the address bar, without https:// or a path. crm.acme.com covers that address only. *.acme.com covers acme.com and all its subdomains. If you enter acme.com, it is saved as *.acme.com.
4. Click Save Custom Domains, then select Allow when the browser asks.

Only HTTPS pages are supported. Genesys Cloud domains cannot be added as custom domains.

If your organization manages the extension, these settings are locked and show Managed by your organization. Click Grant access in the yellow notice to allow the domains your organization set.
